ICAI has launched a new curriculum shortening
the course duration to four years modernising the syllabus.The cream of hte younger
generation is showing overwhelming response to the new curriculum.The first CPT
attracnte about 28,000 candidates.who excelled as indicated by 66.3% result.
The steps involved to qualify as a CA by 21 years are as follows.....
- Pass class 10th
Examination
- Register for CPT with
the BOS of the ICAI
- Simultaneously,pursue
school education and appear in 10+2 Examination.
- Appear in CPT Exam
- After Passing SSC Examination
and CPT,register for ......
- Practical training of 31/2 year duration
-Professional Competence course.
-Information Technology Training.
- Complete Information
Technology Training of 100 hours before appearing for PCE.
- Appear for PCE on completion
of 18 months of Practical Training.PCE comprises of two groups of three papers each.
- Undergo General Management
and Communication Skills (GMCS) Course after 18 months practical Training and completion
of PCE.
- Qualify in PCE and
complete 31/2 years of practical training to be elegible to appear in the Final
Examination.
- Appear and qualify
the Final Examination,which comprises of two Groups of four papers each.
- Enroll as a menbers
of ICAI and choose to either join employment or set up an office of your own to
practice.
